Free Tour And Overview Of The City
Your first days in town will be action packed. As a newcomer in a strange city, you probably have little or no idea of what Central Ohio has to offer. You will receive a tour of the city and its communities with insight into the history, educational opportunities, activities, arts and sports that make living here so great! This is your tour. So, feel free to bring both questions and a list of things you would like to see. You will be pleasantly surprised how quickly our city and neighborhoods will become familiar.
Temporary Housing Information
Where to stay while you are waiting to find your next home? Information will be provided to you that outlines short-term accommodations available throughout the metro Columbus area.
Finding Your Home
Once you have given us your personal preferences and time frames, the search will begin to locate any available homes that meet your requirements. We will show you any properties that meet your needs that we are aware of. The house may be listed with another REALTOR, an unrepresented seller or a builder. Information regarding the pros and cons of each property will be discussed with you.
With 30 years of experience, our role is to provide advice and information, so you can make the best decision.
Buyer Representation
As a buyer, you will want to have representation in the purchase of your home. In Ohio a real estate agent can represent a buyer as a Buyer’s agent (one who works for the buyer and represents only the buyer in a transaction). When working with a buyer, we work as a buyer's agent. That means our loyalty, trust and confidence are to you. This allows you to receive advice and cousel as you progress through the transaction. We have no relationship with the seller. Our goal is to help you obtain the best price and terms possible for the house you want.
We are both ABRs - Accredited Buyer's Representatives. That means we have taken courses and meet the strigent requirements to attainthis designation designed to benefit a buyer.
Loan Counseling
You will want to be pre-approved for a loan. This gives you bargaining power, helps you determine a price range and a monthly payment that fits your budget. There is much more to a loan then just picking the best interest rate. There are various types of loan programs. We will accompany you to the loan pre-approval meeting with the lender. This allows us to be knowledgeable regarding the loan programs you prefer. You have found the house you want and are ready to make an offer. But, the lender is closed for the day. Knowing the loan program you want allows us to calculate the loan amount and payments for you. This knowledge will enable you to write an offer and feel comfortable with your payment when your offer is accepted
Have A House To Sell In Your Current City?
Have a house to sell in your current city before you can relocate to Columbus. As with most of us, your current house represents a substantial investment for you. At no cost to you, we can refer you to a competent Realtor in your area. The prospective real estate agents will be interviewed to make sure they have the experience, necessary qualifications and will work in your best interest. We hope you will consider them.
If you have relocation benefits from your employer, we are knowledgeable of these programs. We have worked with most of the relocation companies that provide these benefits to companies. We will coordinate with them to make sure you receive maximum benefits under your company’s relocation program.
Moving To Another City?
If you are relocating to another city or state, we can assist you. With the RE/MAX relocation network we can recommend a RE/MAX agent in the city where you are moving. We will interview the agent to insure that they can provide the services you require and will coordinate closely with them to insure a smooth move from your current house to your new home. When you work with a RE/MAX agent you are working with the best.
Finally, please book mark this site and use it as your real estate resource. Information is provided for the most frequently asked questions. We want you as informed as you can be, so you can make informed decisions for you and your family.
If you have questions, need answers or are relocating, we would appreciate an opportunity to discuss your needs and outline the services we have provided buyers and sellers for 29 years.
